SPAR became the Principal Partner of the EAA in 1996 when its sponsorship began with that year's European Athletics Indoor Championships. The sponsorship agreement is now in its third term and runs until the end of 2007. Seiko has been the EAA's Official Timing and Measurement Company since 1991 and supplies all timing and electronic distance measurement equipment at EAA events. Epson became the EAA's Technical Partner in 2001. Epson supports the EAA's data processing requirements and supplies the Commentator Information System (CIS) at events. EBU/Eurovision has been the Official Broadcast Partner of the EAA since 1991 and is the distributor of the broadcasting rights for EAA events within Europe .
